DILMA is a project promoted by two organisations: the Universo association, based in Bologna, and the Waito association, founded in Bimba. Both are non-profit organisations whose purpose is to promote the project internationally.

We decided to create the project in honour of two founding members (Dipita and Lumunga) who lost their lives in 2020 and loved helping the less privileged, a reason why we named it this way too.
